Dr. Rose Record-Lemon, Registered Psychologist

Supporting Children, Youth, and Adults

I feel very honored to work alongside my clients as they work through life’s adversities, recoveries, milestones, and triumphs. I am constantly struck by the powerful healing and insight-building processes that emerge in the counselling process.

Dr. Rose Record-Lemon

Counselling is a courageous journey of growing self-awareness, building skills, and exploring new ways of being in the world. My first and foremost goal in counselling is to offer a safe and supportive place in which to talk, explore, and be heard. People come to counselling for many different reasons. Some of those reasons might be – to understand and manage aspects of mental health and wellness, to learn new skills, to build self-compassion and self-awareness, to explore past or current stressors, and/or to better understand relationships with ourselves and others. Because each person comes to counselling for different reasons, I offer an approach to counselling that is collaborative and tailored to best support your unique needs and goals.

By working in a partnership with you, my role is to assist and empower you to reconnect with and build upon your unique strengths so that you can confront the challenges you face. In a client-centered experiential approach, I will lead you into a process of discussions and activities that will help you recognize, understand and re-frame, change, or rewire rigid and/or unhelpful thoughts, feelings, behaviours, sensations and memories so that you can reconnect with your life in a way that is working for you!
